Day 1: Transfer & Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls National Park
Your adventure begins early! At 6:00 AM, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and begin the scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most iconic protected area. Upon arrival, check in at Red Chilli Rest Camp, a popular and budget-friendly lodge located inside the park. Take a moment to refresh and relax before heading out for your afternoon boat cruise along the Nile a highlight of the park. Cruise all the way to the base of the thunderous Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating an unforgettable natural spectacle. After the cruise, enjoy an evening game drive through the park’s open savanna, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and more. For those seeking a little extra adventure, an optional night game drive can be arranged (at additional cost). Overnight: Red Chilli Rest Camp Meal plan: Bed only
Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Hike to the Top of the Falls & Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up early for a final morning game drive, giving you one more chance to spot wildlife as the park comes alive look out for elephants, giraffes, antelope, and perhaps even big cats on the move. Afterwards, enjoy a short hike to the Top of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness the Nile River thunder through a narrow 7-meter gorge an unforgettable sight and a perfect photo opportunity. From here, begin your scenic journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with an optional lunch stop en route (at own cost). You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport in time for your evening flight, marking the end of your 2-day Murchison Falls adventure. Overnight: N/A Meal plan: Lunch
