Day 1: Arusha – Journey to Serengeti National Park After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your driver-guide will pick you up to begin your scenic journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 6 hours and includes a captivating transit game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, giving you a preview of the landscapes and wildlife that await. The Serengeti is an absolute must-see for any safari enthusiast. Spanning a vast expanse in northwestern Tanzania, it is home to over 70 mammal species including large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants as well as more than 500 species of birds. Whether you're visiting during the Great Migration or not, the Serengeti offers year-round game viewing and stunning scenery, from endless savannahs to acacia-dotted plains. Around midday, you’ll stop at a designated picnic site inside the park to enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. After lunch, continue your afternoon game drive, tracking wildlife as the golden light of the Serengeti sets the scene for unforgettable encounters. You’ll have the opportunity to spot large prides of lions, elusive leopards, graceful cheetahs, towering giraffes, massive elephants, buffalo herds, and a staggering diversity of antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species.
Of course, no mention of the Serengeti is complete without the Great Migration a natural phenomenon where over a million wildebeests and thousands of zebras and gazelles move across the plains in search of greener pastures. Depending on the time of year, you may witness this awe-inspiring spectacle in full motion.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Encounters En Route
This morning, you’ll rise early to enjoy breakfast at your campsite before setting off on a final sunrise game drive in the Serengeti an ideal time to witness predators on the move and wildlife at its most active.
After soaking in the morning magic of the Serengeti, you’ll begin your scenic transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing opportunities along the way. The drive offers a beautiful transition from endless plains to the highland forests surrounding the crater rim.
In the afternoon, pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, then enjoy a leisurely transfer game drive through Ngorongoro as you make your way to the lodge, perched on the highlands.
This location provides an excellent base for tomorrow's early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most unique and biodiverse ecosystems. Staying overnight near the rim ensures you’ll be among the first to descend the next morning when wildlife activity is at its peak.

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your much-anticipated descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. As you take in your first panoramic view from the crater rim, you’ll immediately understand why this ancient caldera has earned global acclaim.
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa and offers a truly unique safari setting. Enclosed by steep crater walls, this natural sanctuary is home to an extraordinary variety of animals including all of the Big Five, with especially good chances of spotting the rare and endangered black rhinoceros.
Aboard your custom 4x4 open-roof safari vehicle, you’ll have incredible opportunities for photography and close-up wildlife viewing as you traverse the crater floor spotting elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, buffalo, and a host of bird species.
Midday, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible journey surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
